Who owns my domain name?

You do. Your domain name, such as https://www.mybusinessname.co.uk/, is yours to keep. However, we recommend you register your domain name as soon as possible with a registrar! GoDaddy, Hover.com, and others are excellent options for registering your domain name today.

We can register a domain on your behalf if you need help!

Who owns my e-commerce data?

You do. Any data you provide to Riselabs in the form of goods, variations, e-commerce analytics, and other information is yours.

Who owns the website content?

You do. Even if we’ve written material for you, you have the right under our agreement to utilise it as you see fit – including on other websites and materials. You may keep a copy of the material for future use if you decide to leave Riselabs.

Can I make changes to my site?

Absolutely! Yes! You have access to a full suite of editor tools within WordPress and the themes engines we use, either powered by Elementor or WPBakery. You can edit content, posts, products, forms, landing pages, popups, etc.

Will you make changes to the site?

If you would like help updating your site, designing a new page, or creating a new piece of content, you have access to our development team for 2 hours each month to produce any updates you need. Note that your development time will not roll over month to month; however, any meetings or discussions around updates do not use up your available time.

What if I want a new feature?

Amazing! You can add any features we have available to include on your website to your monthly subscription. If you need a bespoke or unique feature, there is no doubt we’ll know how to help – contact us!

Do you do SEO?

Our websites are optimised to be as search engine friendly as possible. We provide tools to help you refine your content to be SEO friendly and can also provide you with dedicated SEO services. Please speak to us today!

What is the contract term?

2 years (24 months). If you wish to end the agreement sooner, you only need to cover the months remaining in the final payment. After two years, you can terminate the agreement and move on to a new project or a different provider.

Is there a deposit?

Yes, for designing any custom pages you wish us to create for you. We charge a design fee per page as these are completely bespoke and made just for you by our team. You can duplicate them and use them as templates for other pages.

Do you charge for extra pages on my site?

No, you can add as many pages as you want and use the stock templates to create new content layouts or unique designs (like landing pages). If you need any help, ask!

What happens if Riselabs stops business?

We want you to be able to work with another provider if Riselabs ceases business and is no longer able to host your website. In that case, we’ll provide a ZIP file containing our latest backup so it can continue being maintained by another company.

Will my website run fast?

Yes! We use dedicated cloud instances to run our client’s WordPress sites, powered by DigitalOcean (one of the UK’s top data centres). We also employ caching, a content delivery network and other tools to ensure consistent speeds. Plus, we optimise every site before putting them live and will continue to monitor performance during your agreement.

Will prices go up (or down)?

Not during your fixed 2 years (24 months) agreement. After the agreement term ends, we may revise prices to reflect current market conditions (such as an increase or decrease in the cost of a licence your website requires to operate).

Note: if your website is running slow, we may recommend increasing the size and cost of the server to accommodate more visitors.
