What are we building?
Allow customers to pre-book tables via your app and have a manager confirm their booking. They could even pre-order drinks or food. The idea is to simplify remote restaurant table booking requests.
Reduce time spent on the phone or website by keeping bookings all in-app. Customers will find it faster and more convenient to check up on their favourite place to see if it is busy and if they can secure a table.
How would we go about this?
The key here is deployment. All staff need to be made aware of the app, including the ability to book on behalf of those who do not use the app. Ensuring the app is connected to a healthy source of up-to-date table booking information is essential.
