If you’re on our Riselabs site, then you’re probably full of business ideas.

Most of mine are related to software where I strive to create something new, which can be beneficial to people and profitable.

Though ideas can be exciting and inspiring, that is all they will ever be, ideas. The challenge is to make them a reality.

I have had several ideas, both personally and professionally, which I have managed to pull out of my head and turn into a workable plan. Some of them enjoyed a modicum of success and evolved into more significant projects; most did not.

You may ask, “what’s the point of starting a project if it can fail?”

Simple, because it might not.

You might decide one day to try and build something entirely new; investing time, money, and resources into it, knowing that there is a risk that you will not see a return on those investments. Ultimately, if you do not try, then you will never know.

This is where the idea of failing fast comes into play. Once upon a time, it would be months before you could get useable software in front of users to test out your idea. Simply put, make your vision a reality, get it out to your customer base, and attain real-time, workable feedback which you can use to improve your product. Repeat.

In terms of software, apps, and platforms, things have changed drastically. For example, if you wanted to build a new physical product, you had designed and was almost ready to go. It would not take you long to find a manufacturer who could create your product. Riselabs is that manufacturer for software.
